I am a mystery
I am a fast learner
I am a scorpio
I am a video games lover

I am lost and never will be found
2 My name is James Gregrey Lawrence Ball and i was born on October 27th 1997. I was born to my loving parents, Steven James Ball and Michelle Lyn Ball. On the day of my birth there was a Denver Bronco game on tv and of course my mothers water broke during the game. As a typical man, my dad goes, “can it wait till half time”. Well that pissed my mom off and she yelled at him to get into the car. So my mom and dad went on there way to Vail. At the time they were living in a cabin next to my grandparents house in McCoy, a very small town between Eagle and Steamboat Springs on highway 131. When my mother was in the middle of labor with me the doctor found my umbilical cord wrapped around my neck. If it wasn’t for the doctors fast thinking I wouldn’t be alive right now. What’s funny is the doctor that helped give birth to me is my grandmother’s primary doctor in Edwards.
3-4 My parents are the most loving parents I could ask for. My father is the most hardworking man I know and at the same time my hero and a person I greatly look up to. My dad is a plumber and works almost every day of the week. He rarely gets off work because he’s committed to providing for his family. My mother is a amazing woman who is there every time I have a problem. I can always go to her and she will help. She will give you the most honest answer and won’t turn anyone away (unless you have wronged her). I have a older brother name Joe. I don’t really care about him and have nothing good to say.
5. One pivotal moment that changed me the most was when my house burnt down. I was six and that changed me because we moved to New Castle from where we lived before. When you’re six, moving from a farm to a town is really different. Another pivotal moment would have to be my being home schooled from 3rd grade through 6th grade and 9th through 10th grade. When you’re home schooled you're not around a whole bunch of people and you’re just kinda alone with nobody to keep you company. The lack of social interaction and all of a sudden having a tight schedule led to social anxiety for me. Last, I would have to say being diagnosed with schizophrenia really changed me, and I can’t say for the better. It’s not for the worst either. Since being diagnosed I have opened my eyes to a lot of issues in my life and have overcome most of them. With all that said those were the moment that changed my life the most.
6. Here is a list of all the things the make me happy.
*music
*animals
*my beautiful fiancee Nicole Barker
*video games (mostly pokemon)
*playing Magic the Gathering, the card game
*hanging out with my friends
*being outside
*working
*being a student at ymhs
*having the freedom of a car
*living in such a beautiful place
7. Here is a list of things that make me sad.
*watching any sad scene in an anime
*seeing little kids get bigger and bigger
*hearing animals in pain or whining
*people who are ignorant and selfish
*whenever I finish a series on Netflix and have to find a new show to watch
*being mistreated by people who I’ve tried my hardest to help
*not being able to perform my best work
8. It’s hard for me to talk about my strengths, talents and gifts because I’m not really good at doing anything in particular like an action or something only I can do. But I would have to say that being kind and generous and helpful to people would be a strength . I am good at fixing stuff and I am a hardworker when I do work. I am a fast learner and if you teach me something once you wont have to teach me again (if it involves working with your hands). All of those are gifts just as much as strengths.
9. One area in my life that needs work is needing to be open to new ideas. Change is difficult. Having a routine and a schedule are helpful to me. I also crave independence and freedom. I would like to get out on my own but in some ways it’s hard to do for the fact that I don’t have a job and right now and my parent are dependent on me. Another struggle I have is really bad back problems that sometimes keep me from doing certain activities. And having schizophrenia is hard at times to deal with. With all that in mind, I would say I don’t really have to change anything in my life except to start thinking more toward the future and not thinking of just today.
10. Most of my childhood life I grew up Catholic and went to church every Sunday. I stopped going to church when I was about 8. Even at that age I saw that the churches were more about themselves and less about what they believed in. So, at this moment in my life, I don’t believe in any one god but I do believe there is one. I don’t represent any religion because in many ways they say the same thing, from a different cultural perspective. I don’t bash anyone for the religion they believe in but I can say that in one way, shape or form, there is always corruption when religion is involved.
11. Beauty to me is really anything you look at in awe. LIke when you see the ocean for the first time or come to Colorado and go hiking for 15 minutes. Beauty to me isn't defined as only one thing; there are enough definitions of beauty that everybody can have a different one. Some people might bash you for thinking that a cactus is beautiful, hating them because they think only fluffy things are beautiful. To me, beauty is not just one thing; everything is beautiful in someones eyes.
12. Friendship is something you feel when you find another human being or living being with a connection to you. Friendship is something that brings two people, two animals, or man and animal together. Either way, friendship is the same. Even imaginary friends work as long as they give you someone to be close to and someone who knows you better then you know yourself. Even if it doesn’t last a lifetime, at least you had a friend for a day. But a real friendship will last a lifetime.
13. Home is a place you can always come back to. Home is where you feel welcome and where you feel safe. Home is where you’re most comfortable, whether it’s inside or outside. Everybody has a home. Home is where we are raised and where we raise our own kids and watch all the generations that come after us. Home is where you lay your head at night and dream your happiest dreams and wake up in the best of moods. Home is where your family is, whether they are blood or not.
14. One of the most important characteristics for being a good parent is having the responsibility to take proper care of a child. The next characteristic that a parent should have is a good sense of self. A parent needs to be mature and know how to act in all circumstances. A good parent must have enough time for the child and be able to make the time. Last but not least, you have to have a good structure for your life; like a job, a home, and transportation. You have to have yourself ready to bring a child into the world. All of these characteristics will help myself become a better parent for my child.
15. For my future happiness I need to focus on my education, finding a job, and getting a house for myself and my fiancee. I need to finish high school and go to college, though I’m not sure for what yet. I need to find a job so that when I’m ready, I can move out and get my own house and be able to start a family with my beautiful Nicole. I need to focus on the things that make me happy and make the most out of my experiences. I also want to enjoy my childhood while I still have it.
16. Success to me is to have worked, studied, fought, and struggled to be seen from the eyes of another person, or people you care about, as someone they are proud of. Success is receiving a reward for the good things you have done; like a diploma for graduating high school, or beating your high score on your favorite video game. But success must be worked for and earned, its not given away like candy at a parade. You can only earn success through hard work and dedication. If you feel successful by doing nothing, then you have a false sense of success.
